“Jax,” the dive bar to which Desmond followed Charlie after Charlie was bailed out of jail (“Happily Ever After,” Ep. 6×11) is Anna Bananna’s (2440 S. Beretania St.), a renown college dive bar near the University of Hawaii. In the episode, the bar is depicted as being across the street from the Airport Courthouse, played by Hale Auhau. One of the final scenes of “LOST,” in which most of the characters came together in the flash-sideways before “moving on” (Ep. 6×17, “The End”), was filmed inside the St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy (3253 Waialae Avenue) in Kaimuki. It was the same church where the “Lamp Post” station was hidden (Ep. 5×05, “This Place Is Death,” and Ep. 5×06, “316″). The psychic that Claire visited (“Raised by Another,” Ep. 1×10), who also appeared in a Mr. Eko flashback (“?” Ep. 2×21) lived at the historic Manoa Valley Inn near the University of Hawaii (2001 Vancouver Dr.). The interior was also used for the coroner’s office. This location was also where Charlie’s childhood nightmare sequence was filmed (“Fire+Water,” Ep. 2×12). (continue reading…)

The Victorian-style home in Sydney where Charlie’s brother Liam lived (“The Moth,” Ep. 1×07) is located on Gretchen Lane, off Robinson Lane in Nuuanu. This is a private residence. Many of the homes (and trees) on Robinson Lane are of historic significance. This location is near Honolulu Memorial Park and Oahu Cemetery. (continue reading…)

The “Flightline” motel where Locke met Anthony Cooper, and where Helen confronted them (“Lockdown,” Episode 2×17) is the Hale Hana apartment complex off Kapahulu Avenue (3410 Leahi Ave.). The location resurfaced in the flash-sideways, as Hurley went to retrieve Charlie for a concert (“The End,” Ep. 6×17). (continue reading…)

The Ala Wai Harbor (also known as the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor or the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor) is the setting of several “LOST” scenes. It is the marina where Boone confronts Shannon’s boyfriend and attempts to pay him off (”Hearts and Minds,” Ep. 1×13). It is also the marina where Charlie caused Desmond to crash his car into the water (“Happily Ever After,” Ep. 6×11). And the same area is also the backdrop for the iconic photo of Desmond and Penny (“Flashes Before Your Eyes,” Ep. 3×08). Note the twin towers of the Hawaii Prince Hotel visible in the background.
