Kaaawa Valley

The broad, majestic Ko’olau mountain ridge seen in a memorable wide shot in the pilot episode (“Pilot,” Ep. 1×01) is viewed from Ka’a’awa Valley, also known as Kualoa Valley. The same view is revisited during the conversation between Jacob and the Man in Black during Season Six (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09). The valley contains a number of iconic “LOST” locations. “Jax,” the dive bar to which Desmond followed Charlie after Charlie was bailed out of jail (“Happily Ever After,” Ep. 6×11) is Anna Bananna’s (2440 S. Beretania St.), a renown college dive bar near the University of Hawaii. In the episode, the bar is depicted as being across the street from the Airport Courthouse, played by Hale Auhau. Hinano Street Home

The exterior of the home in Inglewood, California, where Miles goes to see Mrs. Gardiner to exorcise a spirit (“Confirmed Dead,” Ep. 4×02), is a private residence at 3008 Hinano St. According to LostLocations.com commenter “Andrew,” the downstairs interior was filmed at 3018 Hinano St., with the upstairs scene filmed at the Hawaii Film Studio. Sacred Hearts Academy

One of the final scenes of “LOST,” in which most of the characters came together in the flash-sideways before “moving on” (Ep. 6×17, “The End”), was filmed inside the St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy (3253 Waialae Avenue) in Kaimuki. It was the same church where the “Lamp Post” station was hidden (Ep. 5×05, “This Place Is Death,” and Ep. 5×06, “316”).
