But, it had been raining pretty much the whole day so far and we figured the rain would have made this trail really muddy and miserable. So we decided to go to Makapu&#8217;u trail since it is paved. I am actually really glad we decided to go to this trail, because it is located on the furthest south-east point of Oahu and we wouldn&#8217;t really have had a chance to go out there otherwise. 		<description>The old Hawaii five-o filmed an episode on the same location during it&#039;s first season (episode 16 &quot;The Box). Back then it was an old dilapidated prison known as the Hawaii State Prison. If you freeze frame it during a the flyover at the begining of the episode, and compare it on Google Earth today, you can see the old guard towers which still stand and several houses and building on the outskirts. You can see that episode and all others on Netflix.</description>
