Judd Memorial Trail

Judd Memorial Trail was frequently used as a “LOST” filming location, serving as a jungle and stream setting in nearly every season. It was where Mr. Eko met his demise (“The Cost of Living,” Ep. 3×05) and where young Ben met Richard Alpert for the first time (“The Man Behind the Curtain,” Ep. 3×20). Most recently, it was where Jacob attacked the Man in Black (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15).

Kaaawa Valley

The broad, majestic Ko’olau mountain ridge seen in a memorable wide shot in the pilot episode (“Pilot,” Ep. 1×01) is viewed from Ka’a'awa Valley, also known as Kualoa Valley. The same view is revisited during the conversation between Jacob and the Man in Black during Season Six (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09). The valley contains a number of iconic “LOST” locations.

Ka’a'awa Valley was also used to film:

Hurley’s golf course (“Solitary,” Ep. 1×09).
The spot where Ana Lucia confronts and kills Goodwin (“The Other 48 Days,” Ep. 2×07).
The hilly field where Hurley, Sawyer and Jin took a joyride in the DHARMA van (“Tricia Tanaka is Dead,” Ep. 3×10).
The area where Richard and his wife lived in the Canary Islands in 1867 (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09).

The valley is not open to the public, but is accessible via KOS Tours.

Makapuu Lighthouse Trail

A scenic point approximately halfway up Makapuu Lighthouse Trail, a popular hiking trail and lookout at Makapuu Point (part of the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline) in East Honolulu, has been used for several “LOST” scenes. First, it was the cliff where Hurley is told by Dave to jump (“Dave,” Ep. 2×18). Secondly, it was where Ben brought Sawyer to show him that he’s on a second island (“Every Man For Himself,” Ep. 3×04). Finally, this is also where the base of The Lighthouse where Jack and Hurley went to meet Jacob (“The Lighthouse,” Ep. 6×05) was built.

Waikiki Landmark

The building from which Locke fell eight stories after being pushed through a window by his father (“The Man from Tallahassee,” Ep. 3×13), an event that was later revisited by Jacob (“The Incident,” Ep. 5×16), was the Waikiki Landmark condominium (1888 Kalakaua Ave.), near the Hawaii Convention Center.

YMCA Camp Erdman

“Othersville,” the suburban enclave of the DHARMA Initiative and subsequently the Others (first seen in “A Tale of Two Cities,” Ep. 3×01), is the YMCA’s Camp H.R. Erdman (69-385 Farrington Hwy.) on the North Shore. The camp became a major set for Season 5, and appeared in several episodes depicting different time periods. The YWCA welcomes visitors and has signage offering parking for “LOST” fans, but asks that photos not be taken of children or other guests.

Moli‘i Fishpond

The picturesque waterfront where Jin meets his father and tells him about Sun (“In Translation,” Ep. 1×17), and where Sun meets Jin’s father (“D.O.C.,” Ep. 3×18) is the Moli‘i Fishpond near Kualoa Regional Park. This is also where the Galaga submarine arrived on the island (“One Of Us,” Ep. 3×16). Private property, accessible via guided tours at Tropical Farms.

Waimea Valley

The waterfall where Sawyer and Kate took a dip and found the gun case (“Whatever the Case May Be,” Ep. 1×12) was part of Waimea Valley, formerly the Waimea Valley Audubon Center (59-864 Kamehameha Highway). Nikki and Paolo later visited the same spot (“Expose,” Ep. 3×14).

Paradise Park

The “Hydra” station, and much of the facility used by “Others” early in the third season (“A Tale of Two Cities,” Ep. 3×01) is the former Paradise Park (and its four-story aviary), located deep in Manoa Valley. The facility still houses Treetops Restaurant, but the lower and ground levels are not open to the public. This location is near Manoa Falls Trail.

Times Supermarket Beretania

The supermarket where Kate shops for “taco night” and later calls the Marshall seeking a reprieve from the parking lot (“I Do,” Ep. 3×06) is the Times Supermarket on S. Beretania St. (1290 S. Beretania St.).
