Bamboo Field

The spot where “LOST” began and ended, with Jack lying on his back in a bamboo forest (“The Pilot,” Ep. 1×01, “The End,” Ep. 6×17) is located just off Nuuanu Pali Dr., through the access gate to the Pauoa Ridge hunting area within the Honolulu Watershed Forest Reserve. This is also the bamboo field through which “Mother” led young Jacob and young Man in Black to the “Heart of the Island” (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15). (continue reading…)

Judd Memorial Trail

Judd Memorial Trail was frequently used as a “LOST” filming location, serving as a jungle and stream setting in nearly every season. It was where Mr. Eko met his demise (“The Cost of Living,” Ep. 3×05) and where young Ben met Richard Alpert for the first time (“The Man Behind the Curtain,” Ep. 3×20). Most recently, it was where Jacob attacked the Man in Black (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15). (continue reading…)

Rehab Hospital of the Pacific

The hospital that was the nexus of several storylines in the flash-sideways in Season 6 was the Nuuanu location of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (226 North Kuakini Street). Jack and Juliet worked there, and patients included Claire, Locke, Sun, and Sayid’s brother. Visitors included Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Nadia, Helen, and David. The location was also used to portray the care home where Anthony Cooper lived (“The Candidate, Ep. 6×14). (continue reading…)

Pauahi Tower

The office building where Claire went to visit the adoption agency, and where Desmond introduced her to his lawyer Ilana (“The Last Recruit,” Ep. 6×13), was Pauahi Tower in downtown Honolulu (1001 Bishop St.). The lobby was transformed with a check-in desk and a sign that read “Constellation Tower.” Desmond and Claire took the escalator to the mezzanine level, then took the elevator to the 15th floor. Jack and his son David later arrived for the reading of Christian’s will. The mezzanine level also stood in for Heathrow Airport when Sayid was apprehended (“The Greater Good,” Ep. 1×21). Ala Moana Beach Park

The same view is revisited during the conversation between Jacob and the Man in Black during Season Six (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09). The valley contains a number of iconic “LOST” locations.
