Kualoa Ranch – The Arrow

“The Arrow” was the second DHARMA station on The Island, and was used as a refuge by the tail-section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 (“The Other 48 Days,” Ep. 2×07). It is located on the grounds of Kualoa Ranch, which is home to many iconic “LOST” locations.

In October 2011, Ed Kos of Kos Tours, Inc. discovered this door and tunnel in Kaaawa at Kualoa Ranch (beneath the right side of the “Kissing Monkeys” rock formation). Former tour driver Matt Morici identified it as “The Arrow,” the second DHARMA station on The Island and a filming location for which he’d been hunting for years.

Rehab Hospital of the Pacific

The hospital that was the nexus of several storylines in the flash-sideways in Season 6 was the Nuuanu location of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (226 North Kuakini Street). Jack and Juliet worked there, and patients included Claire, Locke, Sun, and Sayid’s brother. Visitors included Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Nadia, Helen, and David. The location was also used to portray the care home where Anthony Cooper lived (“The Candidate, Ep. 6×14).

Note that the hospitals seen early in Season 6 were other locations. Kate originally brings Kate to Hawaii Medical Center West (“What Kate Does,” Ep. 6×03), and Sayid and Nadia visit Omer at Hawaii Medical Center East (“Sundown,” Ep. 6×06).

Kaaawa Valley

The broad, majestic Ko’olau mountain ridge seen in a memorable wide shot in the pilot episode (“Pilot,” Ep. 1×01) is viewed from Ka’a'awa Valley, also known as Kualoa Valley. The same view is revisited during the conversation between Jacob and the Man in Black during Season Six (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09). The valley contains a number of iconic “LOST” locations.

Ka’a'awa Valley was also used to film:

Hurley’s golf course (“Solitary,” Ep. 1×09).
The spot where Ana Lucia confronts and kills Goodwin (“The Other 48 Days,” Ep. 2×07).
The hilly field where Hurley, Sawyer and Jin took a joyride in the DHARMA van (“Tricia Tanaka is Dead,” Ep. 3×10).
The area where Richard and his wife lived in the Canary Islands in 1867 (“Ab Aeterno,” Ep. 6×09).

The valley is not open to the public, but is accessible via KOS Tours.

Fort Street Mall – Beretania Street

The busy Los Angeles street where Sawyer meets Miles and tells him about his past, and where Kate crashes her car and runs down an adjacent alley (“Recon,” Ep. 6×08), is at the intersection of Fort Street Mall and Beretania Street in downtown Honolulu.

Diamond Head Grill

The fancy bar and restaurant where Sawyer met his blind date Charlotte (“Recon,” Ep. 6×08) was the Diamond Head Grill in The Lotus at Diamond Head hotel (2885 Kalakaua Ave., formerly the W Hotel) in Waikiki.

Sacred Hearts Academy

One of the final scenes of “LOST,” in which most of the characters came together in the flash-sideways before “moving on” (Ep. 6×17, “The End”), was filmed inside the St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy (3253 Waialae Avenue) in Kaimuki. It was the same church where the “Lamp Post” station was hidden (Ep. 5×05, “This Place Is Death,” and Ep. 5×06, “316″). The grounds of Sacred Hearts Academy were used for several exterior shots in the same episodes.

This location is adjacent to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Makapuu Lighthouse Trail

A scenic point approximately halfway up Makapuu Lighthouse Trail, a popular hiking trail and lookout at Makapuu Point (part of the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline) in East Honolulu, has been used for several “LOST” scenes. First, it was the cliff where Hurley is told by Dave to jump (“Dave,” Ep. 2×18). Secondly, it was where Ben brought Sawyer to show him that he’s on a second island (“Every Man For Himself,” Ep. 3×04). Finally, this is also where the base of The Lighthouse where Jack and Hurley went to meet Jacob (“The Lighthouse,” Ep. 6×05) was built.

Honolulu International Airport

The bustling arrivals and baggage claim area of Los Angeles International Airport was filmed at the Honolulu International Airport, in and around Baggage Claim F (lower level, east end). This includes the small office where Jack and Locke meet, the tunnel and skylight Kate sees as she flees the building, and the pickup area where Kate jumps into Claire’s taxi cab. Note that the customs station where Jin and Sun are stopped is a different location.

Ewa Community Church

Waialua Service

The gas station where Sawyer and Cassidy pulled their jewelry con (“The Long Con,” Ep. 2×13) was Waialua Service, formerly Eric’s Expert Service, in Waialua (67-016 Farrington Hwy.). The station’s actual name and sign (at the time) were actually used in the episode.
