Judd Memorial Trail was frequently used as a “LOST” filming location, serving as a jungle and stream setting in nearly every season. It was where Mr. Eko met his demise (“The Cost of Living,” Ep. 3×05) and where young Ben met Richard Alpert for the first time (“The Man Behind the Curtain,” Ep. 3×20). Most recently, it was where Jacob attacked the Man in Black (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15). Continue reading Judd Memorial Trail

Sacred Hearts Academy
One of the final scenes of “LOST,” in which most of the characters came together in the flash-sideways before “moving on” (Ep. 6×17, “The End”), was filmed inside the St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy (3253 Waialae Avenue) in Kaimuki. It was the same church where the “Lamp Post” station was hidden (Ep. 5×05, “This Place Is Death,” and Ep. 5×06, “316”). The grounds of Sacred Hearts Academy were used for several exterior shots in the same episodes. Continue reading Sacred Hearts Academy

Makapuu Lighthouse Trail
A scenic point approximately halfway up Makapuu Lighthouse Trail, a popular hiking trail and lookout at Makapuu Point (part of the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline) in East Honolulu, has been used for several “LOST” scenes. First, it was the cliff where Hurley is told by Dave to jump (“Dave,” Ep. 2×18). Secondly, it was where Ben brought Sawyer to show him that he’s on a second island (“Every Man For Himself,” Ep. 3×04). Finally, this is also where the base of The Lighthouse where Jack and Hurley went to meet Jacob (“The Lighthouse,” Ep. 6×05) was built. Continue reading Makapuu Lighthouse Trail
Waipahu High School
The high school where Locke worked as a substitute teacher and met Ben off-island (“The Substitute,” Ep. 6×04) is Waipahu High School (94-1211 Farrington Highway). We later learn that Dr. Arzt is a science teacher and Alex is a student at the same school (“Dr. Linus,” Ep. 6×07). They used the outdoor halls, gym, a classroom and teachers’ lounge. Continue reading Waipahu High School
Bishop Museum
The State Museum of Cultural and Natural History, Bishop Museum, has served as a filming location for several episodes. The museum’s “Great Lawn” was where Eloise was staging the “fusion” concert when Desmond visited her in the flash-sideways (“Happily Ever After,” Ep. 6×11, “The End,” Ep. 6×17). The backstage area where Claire gave birth to Aaron was the Long Gallery inside historic Hawaiian Hall. The side of the Hawaiian Hall has also appeared as the London waterfront (“Flashes Before Your Eyes,” Ep. 3×08) and as a snowy street in Russia (“He’s Our You,” Ep. 5×10).
