The spot where “LOST” began and ended, with Jack lying on his back in a bamboo forest (“The Pilot,” Ep. 1×01, “The End,” Ep. 6×17) is located just off Nuuanu Pali Dr., through the access gate to the Pauoa Ridge hunting area within the Honolulu Watershed Forest Reserve. This is also the bamboo field through which “Mother” led young Jacob and young Man in Black to the “Heart of the Island” (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15). (continue reading…)

Judd Memorial Trail was frequently used as a “LOST” filming location, serving as a jungle and stream setting in nearly every season. It was where Mr. Eko met his demise (“The Cost of Living,” Ep. 3×05) and where young Ben met Richard Alpert for the first time (“The Man Behind the Curtain,” Ep. 3×20). Most recently, it was where Jacob attacked the Man in Black (“Across the Sea,” Ep. 6×15). (continue reading…)

Pacific Marina Inn

The motel where Jack and Kate found Aaron’s grandmother, Carole Littleton (“The Little Prince,” Ep. 5×04), was the Pacific Marina Inn near Keehi Lagoon (2628 Waiwai Lp.). Rehab Hospital of the Pacific

The hospital that was the nexus of several storylines in the flash-sideways in Season 6 was the Nuuanu location of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (226 North Kuakini Street). Jack and Juliet worked there, and patients included Claire, Locke, Sun, and Sayid’s brother. Visitors included Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Nadia, Helen, and David. The location was also used to portray the care home where Anthony Cooper lived (“The Candidate, Ep. 6×14). (continue reading…)

Ala Moana Beach Park

Anna Bannana’s

“Jax,” the dive bar to which Desmond followed Charlie after Charlie was bailed out of jail (“Happily Ever After,” Ep. 6×11) is Anna Bananna’s (2440 S. Beretania St.), a renown college dive bar near the University of Hawaii. In the episode, the bar is depicted as being across the street from the Airport Courthouse, played by Hale Auhau. Sacred Hearts Academy

One of the final scenes of “LOST,” in which most of the characters came together in the flash-sideways before “moving on” (Ep. 6×17, “The End”), was filmed inside the St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy (3253 Waialae Avenue) in Kaimuki. It was the same church where the “Lamp Post” station was hidden (Ep. 5×05, “This Place Is Death,” and Ep. 5×06, “316”). The grounds of Sacred Hearts Academy were used for several exterior shots in the same episodes. (continue reading…)
